About First Kids

In First Kids Ministry, we are dedicated to planting and nurturing the seeds of faith in your child's heart through engaging childcare, Bible Study, and Special Family Events. Our goal and desire is to partner with you, the parent, in teaching children what it means to know and love Jesus personally.  

 

Our mission is to create a fun and safe environment where your child can grow in their understanding of who Jesus is. We are excited to serve your kids! 

First Preschool

Birth - 5 years In First Preschool, our goal is to create a safe, fun environment your kids love to come to. During our time with your kiddos we strive to show them the love of Jesus through, songs, play, crafts and snacks. If your child has special dietary needs, please let our volunteers know at drop off! First Preschool is available for our Bible Study and Worship Service hours - 9 am to 11 am.

Sunday Programing

First Elementary

Kinder - 5th Grade In First Kids Elementary, we strive to create a place for kids to come learn the Word of God, worship and form friendship. During our time together we share a snack, worship, engage in Bible teaching and solidify the teaching with a take home craft. First Elementary Ministry uses the Simply Loved Curriculum. Our First Elementary class is available during our 9 am Bible Study hour.

Family Worship

We want families to be a part of our worship at FBC Goldthwaite! We believe in the importance of families worshiping together, which is why we don't hold a separate kids' service during our 10 am worship. To engage our school-aged children, we offer monthly children's sermons and provide entertainment bags at the back of the sanctuary for your convenience.

Nursing Mother's Suite

We understand that caring for your baby's needs is important, and we’re pleased to provide a safe and quiet space for you in our Nursing Mother's Suite. Here, you’ll find the privacy you need, along with a live stream of the service. Our suite is equipped with a changing table, rocking chair, and toys for your little ones to enjoy.

If you need directions, just ask one of our friendly Greeters!
