About First Kids
In First Kids Ministry, we are dedicated to coming alongside you, parents, as you plant and nurture the seeds of faith in your child's heart. We support you through engaging Bible study, nursery care, and special family events for you and your children. Our goal is to help parents teach their children what it means to know and love Jesus personally and to solidify that teaching during their time at First Baptist Goldthwaite.
First Preschool
Birth - 5 years In First Preschool, our goal is to create a safe, fun environment your kids love coming to. During our time with your children, we strive to show them the love of Jesus through songs, play, and Biblical teaching. First Preschool uses The Gospel Project curriculum which immerses kids in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission—from Genesis to Revelation. Through this journey, children discover that the Bible isn’t just a collection of stories but one unified story—God’s story of redemption. First Preschool is available for our Bible Study and Worship Service hours.
Sunday Programming
First Elementary
Kinder - 5th Grade In First Elementary, we strive to create a place for kids to learn the Word of God, worship, and form friendships with other kids. During our time together, we share a snack, worship, engage in Bible teaching, and solidify the teaching with a craft or activity. First Elementary's Children's Sunday School uses The Gospel Project curriculum.which immerses kids in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission—from Genesis to Revelation. Through this journey, children discover that the Bible isn’t just a collection of stories but one unified story—God’s story of redemption. Children's Sunday School is available during our 9am Bible study hour.
Family Worship
We want families to be a part of our worship at FBC Goldthwaite! We believe in the importance of families worshiping together, which is why we don't hold a separate kids' service during our 10am worship. To engage children, we offer activity bags at the back of the sanctuary for your convenience.
