Peggy Nowell, Secretary

Peggy grew up just down the road in Mullin, Texas and moved to Goldthwaite in 1963. She began working as Church Secretary in 1977 And enjoys every aspect of her job! Peggy is married her husband John in May of 1963 and they have three children: Kevin (wife Joy), Jason, and Amy (husband Robbie). She has nine grandchildren: Kimberly, Connie, Paige, Jaynelle, Joshua, Jerrod, Zayne, Layke, and Maklyn, and loves spending time with them and staying busy with their various activities. Some of her hobbies and interest include: sewing, quilting, reading, genealogy, collecting oil lamps, old irons and cookbooks. Peggy loves cooking and trying out new recipes which the staff are always eager to taste! Favorite Bible Verse: Proverbs 3:5-6

Pablo Martinez, Custodian

Pablo Martinez grew up in Mexico and moved to Goldthwaite in 1982. He began working as custodian at First Baptist  Church in 1997 and works hard each week to keep our church and grounds looking nice and Pablo is always at the church to lend a helping hand! When he’s not working, he enjoys sports and other outdoor activities. Favorite Bible Verse: John 3:16
